How does our integration with Royal Mail work?

Orders are picked and packed using Optima WMS. If you use our packing bench module, we know the dimensions and weight of the package. 

The shipping method can be pre-determined by integration with your e-commerce platform or other ordering system, calculated using Optima CMS or manually selected.

When packing is finished, Optima WMS makes a request to Royal Mail to book a consignment, and a label is automatically printed. Royal Mail provides a tracking number which is then automatically passed back to your e-commerce platforms / marketplaces or can be emailed to a delivery contact.

This provides a seamless, efficient process, reducing human error, ensuring the correct shipping method is used every time, and reducing cost.
